Kentucky National Signing Day Updates

| by

With Lamar Dawson heading out west to USC, all attention now turns to Eastern High School (Louisville) Tight End Jon Davis. Remember, he picked UK early but then re-opened his recruiting process. Now it appears to be between Kentucky, Louisville and Illinois. The ‘Cats thought Davis could be the next face of the program. They can ill-afford another blow. He is expected to make his decision at 1:30 and there is absolutely zero indication out there saying where he is going to go.

Here are some of the guys that Joker and Co. have signed to the 2011 Class

DeMarco Robinson, WR (3-star) – Picked UK over Louisville, Minnesota and Marshall. He broke the Georgia state record for receiving yards in a single season, with 1,655 yards and 27 touchdowns on 73 receptions.

Eric Dixon, CB (3-star) – Picked UK over Louisville, USF and Louisiana Tech. Voted first-team all-state as senior.

DJ Warren, DE (NR) – De-Committed from UT-Chattanooga.

Josh Clemons, RB (3-star) – Picked the Cats over Northwestern, Maryland and Mississippi State. Voted Georgia’s Class 4-A offensive player of the year. The kid’s a speedster.

Farrington Huguenin, DE (2-star) – Picked the ‘Cats over NC Central, South Carolina State and NC A&T.

Ashely Lowery, S (3-star) – Picked UK over Illinois, UAB, Navy and Air Force.

Nile Daniel, WR (3-star) – picked UK over Maryland, USF and Troy. Another Georgia kid.

Darrian Miller, OL (3-star) – Picked UK over Louisville, Purdue and Tennessee. Pass blocks well. Quick feet and long arms. Needs to get stronger.

Here are some gray shirts that are already on campus:
Jabari Johnson, LB (3-star)
Max Smith, QB (3-star)
Tim Patterson, LB (3-star)
