Actor Josh Holloway, who played Sawyer on the hit ABC tv show "Lost', talks to Men's Health about life after living in Hawaii for six years, how he tasted his daughter when she was born, and his Buddha gut when he's 70.
At 40, Josh is taking things a bit slower. He married and gained a daughter in the last six years.
"I taste everything. I even tasted the cream on my daughter when she came out of the womb. I'm a taster."
Before you gag (if you're not already), he adds:
Well, she looked like a Cinnabon. I was, like, "What is all this?"
I find it funny that he thought she looked like a Cinnabon so he had to taste her, but still, that's all kinds of wrong. Not only is it gross, but what about the chemicals in the cream?! Well, obviously, Josh is doing just fine, and he plans to continue to live just fine when he's 70.
That's the hardest thing. I love the comfort zone. In my mind, I'm a 70-year-old man with a fly rod in one hand and a beer in the other," he says. "...And I'll be unapologetic. You want to do a Men's Health cover then? I would be happy to show you my Buddha gut, because it will certainly be out. And I will have earned it."
But Josh sure doesn't have a Buddha gut just yet. He pushes himself to train hard by hitting the weights and doing hours of cardio. Josh used to jog and hike, but that bored him, so now he's surfing and learning mixed martial arts.
