Johnny Knoxville has reacted to the death of his fellow "Jackass" crew member Ryan Dunn. The 34-year-old Dunn was killed in a fiery car crash in suburban Philadelphia early Monday morning.

Knoxville tweeted:

Today I lost my brother Ryan Dunn. My heart goes out to his family and his beloved Angie. RIP Ryan, I love you buddy.

No word yet from the rest of the crew, including Bam Margera, Christopher Raab and Brandon DiCamillo

Van Toffler, president of MTV Networks Music/Films Group, which produced the "Jackass" movies and TV shows said in a statement:

"We are devastated by the tragic loss of Ryan Dunn — a beloved member of the MTV family for more than a decade. The Jackass brotherhood will never be the same."

Dunn met Margera on his first day of high school at age 15. They and their friends started videotaping themselves doing skateboard stunts. When Knoxville, a friend of Margera's, asked to use the videos as part of the "Jackass" series, a star was born.

Dunn was a daredevil, but he could not survive when his car went off the road and burst into flames. Police say speed may have been a factor.

A passenger in Dunn's Porsche was also killed. The identity of that person has not yet been revealed.
