Fancy dialling dreamy Johnny Depp? Forget it. His line is dead and the operator has left the building.
Johnny Depp doesn’t do phones.
Depp spoke to Access Hollywood at the premiere of his new film, The Tourist, on Monday and said he gives phones the big shove.
Speaking of the tech-free home he shares with squeeze Vanessa Paradis and the kids in France, he said: “We have Internet and stuff like that because I think that’s the safest form, well, most interesting form of communication.
He added: “I just don’t like phones. I just don’t like them… being reachable all the time.”
“How would I get a hold of you if I was your friend?” asked the reporter.
“You’d have to you know, to just buzz me on the Internet, or something,” said Depp.
And if that fails, try smoke signals, carrier pigeon... or two polystyrene cups and a piece of string.
