Is Jennifer Aniston telling new Best Friend Forever Chelsea Handler to “Shut the fudge up”?
Actually, are Aniston and Handler still Best Friends Forever? Especially after Handler’s expletive-filled tirade against the other woman, purported hubby grabber Angelina Jolie.
We thought we could relax and open a magazine without mulling over Aniston vs Jolie. Then this week, Handler, as part of her stand-up show, launched into a four-letter, particularly nasty and graphic tirade against Jolie. Children, shut your eyes and read no further, please. Handler called the mother of six a “f****ing b***h” and a “c**t.”
Ouch and ouch. And I don’t think said words she used were "forking beach" and a "chit."
Fast forward for some damage control, and this week Handler explained the whys and wherefores on her E! show, Chelsea Lately, making it clear Jennifer had nothing to do with her pointed attack.
“I’ve been making fun of Angelina Jolie since she made out with her brother,” Chelsea laughed. “If I’ve learned nothing from this, it’s to write some new jokes.”
And, according to this report, sources say Aniston would agree, except she doesn’t think this is a laughing matter and has told her feisty friend to give it a rest.
“Jen has gone out of her way to keep her private feelings about that woman who stole her husband private and has always asked her friends to do the same,” a source tells the website. “She is furious with Chelsea for bringing the whole situation back to life again and landing her on the cover of a weekly magazine tomorrow with a Brad headline.”
Sources tells the website that Aniston “hasn’t felt this betrayed since John Mayer held a ‘press conference’ to announce he was breaking up with her.”
“Jen doesn’t just let these sort of people in her life,” one of Aniston’s ‘friends’ says. “She hates drama or unnecessary attention and certainly doesn’t want to ever see her face on a tabloid again with a headline about Angie or Brad.”
The friends adds that “she’s happy Chelsea made it clear her rant had nothing to do with her and wishes she’d just keep her big mouth shut in the future.”
We will have to wait and see if Handler is forgiven.
Will Handler and Aniston bond once more over a Mexican Marguerita? Will Aniston grace another magazine cover talking about "the husband stealer?" Will we all have to seek counseling to cope with the drama of when good friends go bad? That would make a good movie title for Aniston.
