Get Fit by Making These 5 BIG Small Changes

You think starting and staying fit is a painful and arduous undertaking full of restriction and denial, so you don't start at all! But that's your imagination running wild. Often it's simply changing a few small details that can make all the difference.

Top 5 Ways To Make BIG Small Changes

 1. Stop eating out so much. Even the *light*... menu isn't always so light. Restaurants cook with lots of oil, fat and salt to add flavor. You might be shocked at the calories and fat in one meal. You can often Google the nutritional breakdown of the meals at major chains.

2. Stop partying so much. Alcohol is an absolute goal buster. We're not talking the the glass of wine with dinner a few days a week (although that can add up), we're talking about going out several nights a week with 3 or more drinks each night. That adds up to thousands of calories in just days.

3. Stop taking the easy way out so much. Walk, bike, or run instead of driving. Walk your kids to school, walk up the stairs instead of the elevator, walk across a big parking lot. Bike or run to the gym, your friends house, to the store or around the block. The point is to choose movement over non-movement. Bottom line - Pull back on the indulgence, Push forward on being physical and you'll change with little effort.

4. Stop drinking your calories. Soda is the obvious goal buster with sugar (and chemicals) galore and about 200 calories a can. Also watch juices, kids drinks (the just-add-water powders), sports drinks, and the fun, but often dangerous coffees. Don't fool yourself into thinking it's just coffee, many are dessert. Eat, don't drink away your daily calories.

5. Stop impulse shopping. If it's not on the list, DON'T BUY IT. Stick to the healty list you wrote when you were of sound mind and unhungry.

it's true what they say, it's the little things in life. Incorporate these small changes and you'll healthify and de-layer without hardly noticing.
