The pair played over 745 hands on PokerStars with Blom finally getting the best of Palmer. Prior to last night Palmer had given Blom all sorts of trouble at various stakes.
Although they were playing $50/$100 PLO, the stakes were essentially $300/$900 because there was a mandatory 3-bet in place.
For the first time since joining PokerStars Blom now finds himself up over $800k on the site.
The talented Swede has primarily stuck to smaller stakes and was even rumored to have asked PokerStars to ban him from the games higher than $50/$100.

Back in 2009 Blom famously spun his roll up to nearly $5 million against the biggest names in online poker before going into a catastrophic tailspin that would see him lose it all and more.
Next to Isildur1, Dan “jungleman12” Cates was the biggest winner this weekend taking down $584k on Full Tilt.
It was no cakewalk for Cates who took on veteran Patrik Antonius at $300/$600 Mixed HA. Surprisingly the Finn lost $659k in the 359 hands he played last night.
