If Vikings QB Brett Favre Were Black, He’d be Allen Iverson

| by The Daily Heat

Brett Favre had a horrible game on Sunday night against the Green Bay Packers, and this morning folks are “disappointed” with him. The poor showing against the franchise he’s most closely associated with was just another in a series of awful performances by the future first-ballot Hall-of-Famer in 2010.

Iverson, for his part, was a known prima donna ballhog who was called “uncoachable” and had disappointing stints with the Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons, Memphis Grizzlies and Philadelphia 76ers after his original very successful run in Philly.

Favre is known as a “gunslinger,” who has often been referred to as “uncoachable” and had a disappointing run with the New York Jets before having one really great year with the Minnesota Vikings last season.

Favre is known as a “warrior” who, regardless of what injuries hobble him, is on the field every Sunday (or Monday, or Thursday, or Saturday) when his team needs him.

Iverson didn’t like to practice.

Favre doesn’t like to show up for training camp.

So with all of these similarities, can someone please explain why the NBA just Fed-Exed one of the most spectacular players to ever play the game of basketball to Turkey while Favre is...
