Doctors thought that a Seattle, Wash. woman named only as Liz was going into labor when she arrived at the hospital, short of breath, with her boyfriend. But no— it turned out the reason for her emergency room visit was a three-hour long orgasm.
The tale couple Liz and Eric’s sexual malfunction was the fodder of the TLC series “Sex Sent Me to the ER,” which recreated such mishaps as a man falling naked three stories, a 440-pound man who sent his girlfriend to the hospital their first time, and now, the tale of Liz’s hours-long orgasm.
An hour into her orgasm, Liz resorted to hopping up and down and drinking wine to halt the sensations, brought on by a session of pre-work hanky-panky with her partner.
"I started hopping up and down to see if that would do anything," Liz said on the show.
"I started trying to drink wine to see if that would calm down my system. I tried just about every possible thing I could do to stop having an orgasm."
After two hours the couple headed to the ER, where Liz’s climax finally ended a grand total of three hours after it began.
Liz and Eric reportedly got some strange looks and comments in the waiting room.
“There were eyes on me and I was still feeling very tense and uptight and uncertain about what was going on and what was going to happen,” Eric said of the hospital visit.
