Some supporters of President-elect Donald Trump are falsely claiming that the Affordable Care Act (ACA) and Obamacare are not the same health care law.
Frances Langum of Crooks And Liars notes that Twitter user American Patriot posted this misspelled comment against Democratic Rep. Patty Murray of Washington on Jan. 9: "[Patty Murray] [Planned Parenthood] Why don't you shut up Murry. Stop crying. You lost. We won. We are repealing Obamacare not ACA."
American Patriot reportedly removed that tweet, insisted that it was "a joke dumba***s," and posted another attack: "#TrumpTrain riders. I had 300 mentally deranged liberals finally tell me Obamacare and ACA are the same. They come and I can block all."
Langum tweeted back: "Meanwhile, [Patty Murray], the woman you told to shut up, is still fighting to keep your insurance intact. We Dems want you to have healthcare."

Langum also noted that a Facebook user wrote this inaccurate claim: "I'm not on Obamacare. My health insurance is through the ACA (Affordable Care Act), which is what they had to come up with after Obamacare crashed and burned as bad as it did. So I'm gonna be fine."
The uninformed Facebook user was apparently referring to the promised repeal of Obamacare/ACA by Trump and the Republican Party, who have not offered a replacement plan.
In more Trump and health care news, evangelist Franklin Graham called for prayer on his Facebook page Jan. 11 that Trump would nominate a pro-life Supreme Court justice, who would ostensibly roll back women's abortion rights:
President-elect Donald J. Trump is reportedly narrowing down his Supreme Court pick list to fill the seat left vacant by Justice Antonin Scalia. This selection may be only a few days away, with a nomination expected just after the inauguration.

The influence of these justices is so key to the direction of our country. Will you pray with me for wisdom for President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence in this decision? I'm praying that our next Supreme Court Justice will uphold the U.S. Constitution, preserve our religious freedoms, and defend life.
Graham is seemingly still unaware (since Election Day) that Senate Democrats can easily block any Supreme Court nominee -- under the current Senate rules -- because Republicans lack the 60 votes needed to overcome a Democratic filibuster.
