Hello to everyone who has shown concern for me and sent their good wishes. You will never know how much it means to me.

Aren’t you sick of hearing and reading about me?! LOL Well by now you know that I’m not "missing," just a little under the weather. I’m sure I will be feeling good and back home in a couple of days.

This has reminded me that when you need help you can’t be afraid to reach out and ask for it. We all think we should always be able to solve our problems all by ourselves and sometimes it’s just bigger than we are.

I reached out and I hope you will too. I’m sure there are people in your life who love and care for you and would do anything to help you with the challenges you face.

Just knowing you care has already made me feel better. Hope to see you again soon!

Simmons' manager Michael Catalano told ABC News: "After a few days of battling severe indigestion and discomfort while eating, we agreed it was best for him to seek treatment. He's already feeling better and is expected to make a full recovery."

Simmons recently signed a deal with Prominent Brand + Talent, which will represent him on future deals including merchandising, licensing and endorsements, reported License Global.

Dan Levin of Prominent gushed about Simmons in a statement:

Richard Simmons is a beloved American icon and a proven retail brand. Everything he stands for has been the gold standard in health and wellness. He has paved the way for every subsequent fitness personality in this country, yet none of them have matched the impact of Richard’s indelible imprint on America’s psyche.

Prominent is proud to represent Richard Simmons. And has plans to launch a global line of thoughtful motivation and inspiration-based products that will achieve the tenets Richard has always espoused -- love yourself no matter what you weigh, make time to do good for others and laugh a little.

Catalano told The New York Times that Simmons might be involved in publicity for the Simmons-related products: "All I can say, at least for now, is it is possible. But it is yet to be determined, I would say."

Catalano said the products would "be in keeping with Richard’s lifelong mission and messaging."

"We’re talking about inspiration-themed products that will hopefully accomplish what Richard really set his life’s work to do, which is to help people take better care of themselves," Catalano added. "We’re not licensing tires and party hats."
