New Hampshire State Sen. Andy Sanborn (R) recently compared Obamacare to the Asiana Airlines plane crash last Saturday at the San Francisco International Airport, which claimed two lives.
Sanborn was appearing on a radio show on WTPL-FM in Concord, N.H. on Tuesday.

"[Obamacare] is barreling down on us like a jet landing into San Francisco," Sanborn said. "It should make people really concerned." The statement was met with laughter.
According to WMUR.com, Sanborn claimed he could not recall the remark, but offered a weak apology: "It was my mistake. If I offended anyone I am sorry."
“In his radical right-wing crusade against the Affordable Care Act, there is no rhetoric too shameful or appalling for Senator Sanborn," said New Hampshire Democratic Party spokesman Harrell Kirstein. "His comments are heartless and callous, ignoring the awful loss of human life from this tragic accident and then using it as political fodder for his Tea Party opposition to affordable health insurance reform for working New Hampshire citizens. All New Hampshire Republicans should swiftly condemn Sanborn’s cruel joke."
