GOP Heckled at Anti-Obamacare Press Conference: 'Worthless!' (Video)

Several House Republicans held a press conference today in Washington D.C. to insist they are the ones who are working on a compromise to end the U.S. government shutdown, not the Democrats.

The GOP "compromise" would consist of defunding or delaying Obamacare, a law that was signed three years ago.

According to Mediaite.com, during the outdoor press conference, hecklers yelled, "You guys are worthless!" and "Don't shut it down!" and "Your'e ridiculous!"

"We sent a number of options over to the Senate, four separate times. We passed legislation over to the Senate to make sure the government gets funded and at the same time address the problems in Obamacare," claimed  Rep. Steve Scalise (R-La.).

"For whatever reason, [Dem. Senate leader] Harry Reid has stuck his feet in the sand and said he doesn't want to negotiate at all. That's not how democracy works."

However, democracy did work in 2010 when Obamacare was signed into law.

Obamacare began its individual mandate today and states' websites have been overwhelmed with the enormous traffic of people signing up, noted TalkingPointsMemo.org

The main website to find your state and sign up for Obamacare is HealthCare.gov.
