Florida Gov. Rick Scott accidentally gave out the phone number for an adult phone line as the toll-free meningitis hotline, during a press conference on Tuesday.
Gov. Scott was addressing the first fungal meningitis death in Florida in the recent nationwide outbreak.
Popular VideoCongress just passed a drug testing law that has a lot of people outraged. Do you think this is wrong?
Gov. Scott directed Floridians to the hotline's 866 number, but got the numbers mixed up, reports WUSF News.
When WUSF News posted the number online, they were notified by their audience about the mistake.
On the sex phone number, a woman's voice says: “Hello boys, thank you for calling me on my anniversary."
The correct number for the Florida Fungal Meningitis Hotline is 866-523-7339.
