World's Largest Lasagna Cooked By Polish Chefs

| by Michael Allen

In Krakow, Poland, chefs set the Guinness World Record for baking the world's largest lasagna, which weighed 5.29 tons, took 10 hours to cook and served 10,000 portions.

The chefs were honoring the Italian national soccer team, who were in town for the European Soccer Championship.

The Italian team stayed in Poland, where they played against England on Sunday, a game that they won in penalty kicks.

The players reportedly helped cooked the lasagna, but didn't eat much because of their strict pre-game diets.
