A Republican congressman from Wisconsin is under fire after allegedly being overheard saying Michelle Obama has a "large posterior."
FishbowlDC reports that Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner was on the telephone in a lounge at Reagan National Airport on Wednesday recounting a conversation he had at a church auction a few weeks ago.
According to someone writer Betsy Rothstein called a "Democratic operative," Sensenbrenner was speaking "very loud" as he said that a woman came up to him after the auction and praised the First Lady. Referring to her crusade for healthy eating, Sensenbrenner said he told the woman that Mrs. Obama should practice what she preaches because "she lectures us on eating right while she has a large posterior herself."
Rothstein sent an email to Sensenbrenner spokeswoman Amanda Infield for comment. She responded:

Hi Betsy, I am not going to comment on my boss’ “behind.”
Mr. Sensenbrenner was referring to the First Lady’s healthy food initiative. He doesn’t think the government should be telling Americans what to eat. While he may not agree with all of her initiatives, he plans to contact the First Lady’s office to apologize for his comments.
