Jessica Alba's Post-Pregnancy Diet: "Basically I'm Starving"

Jessica Alba has revealed her post-pregnancy diet, saying that basically she starves herself in order to lose the baby weight quickly.

The New York Daily News reports that Alba said, “I have a hard time with portion control, so I have 1,200 calorie meals delivered. But I also work out, so basically I’m starving. It sucks. I drink a lot of water.”

Alba added that at the gym she has “like five things to distract me: TV, iPod, magazines. Working partners are good, too, so you can chat and not just drown in your own misery. Sorry, does that sounds bad? I just hate working out.”

In 2008, Alba had her first child, a daughter named Honor with husband Cash Warren, and in the past, Alba told British GQ that she had suffered from low self-esteem, claiming “my breasts are saggy, I’ve got cellulite, my hips are bigger…every actress out there is more beautiful than me.”

Then in 2005, Alba revealed to Glamor magazine that as a younger woman she was also an anorexic, “A lot of girls have eating disorders, and I did too. I got obsessed with it. When I went from a girl’s body to a women’s body with natural fat, I freaked out.”
