With her 50th birthday only days away, Michelle Obama isn’t ruling out plastic surgery or Botox as an option in the future.
“Women should have the freedom to do whatever they need to do to feel good about themselves,” the first lady said. “I don’t imagine that I would that route, but I’ve also learned to never say never.”
Most importantly, Mrs. Obama believes in staying healthy, noting that she has never missed a health checkup, Pap smear or mammogram. She also exercises regularly and makes sure to eat balanced meals.
When asked if she believes she has peaked at 50, Mrs. Obama explained that her life is ever-evolving and that she doesn’t have the right to sit on her talents or blessings.

"I've got to keep figuring out ways to have an impact, whether as a mother or as a professional or as a mentor to other kids," she said.
Despite her optimism, Mrs. Obama admitted that a few things can still make her feel old. She recalled how one staff member was born the same year she graduated from college.
When President Barack Obama was asked for an opinion, he noted that his wife is “more beautiful now than when [he] met her” and that he’s constantly in awe of his wife.
A dance party is planned for Mrs. Obama at the White House on Saturday night to celebrate her 50th birthday.
