A 17-year-old Australian youth has become a worldwide sensation after posting an inspirational video message about his terminal condition on YouTube. According to the Daily Mail, this post occurred by accident.
Shaun Wilson-Miller was given a bleak prognosis by doctors who told him not to expect any miracles after his body rejected a second heart transplant. Faced with the dire news, Wilson-Miller recorded the video (below) and posted it to his Facebook page.
It was a glitch in the system that caused the private video file to be reposted on YouTube unbeknownst to Willson-Miller. The brave teen awoke the next morning to find his video had over 10,000 views.
The Internet fame didn’t end there. As of the writing of this article, Wilson-Miller’s video has more than 1.3 million views.
