A typical worker, who could telecommute, would save 109 hours in time driving to work each per year. Even a half-time telecommuter would save $750 in gasoline.

Also, people who drive to work typically weigh more, have a higher body mass index, blood pressure and more stress.

If more people telecommuted, we would also have environmental benefits such as an overall reduction in green house gases.
