If you're one of the millions of Americans who doesn't get enough sleep, this handy infographic from Greatist.com shows several ways in which you can snooze better, or at least nap.
Americans, on average, get 6.9 hours of sleep per night, and when we get less than that it can bring on a number of health conditions including higher blood pressure and lowered reaction times.
Lack of sleep can sometimes be attributed to what you eat before bed. Alcohol and spicy foods are not good bedtime foods, but yogurt or popcorn are.
By getting enough sleep, you can reduce inflammation that causes heart disease and cancer, and reduce stress and heighten memory.
