A medical device with a camera attached to it captured the moment a centipede was pulled from a woman’s ear after crawling in while she was sleeping.

In the video (below), a doctor pulls the centipede out of the woman’s ear using tweezers. A portion of the bug is torn off and removed first, followed by the rest of its body after a short struggle. Once fully removed from the woman's ear, the creature is killed using a saline solution.

According to reports, the woman from Jiangsu, China, woke up feeling strange and was rushed to the emergency room. It was then discovered that a centipede had crawled into her ear while she was sleeping.

An electric otoscope, a medical device with a camera attached to it, was used to find and retrieve the centipede.
