Adam Lanza Haircut: Barber Bob Skuba Wishes He Would have Murdered Killer

The few images emerging of Adam Lanza show the 20-year-old with a thick, bowled haircut, a tight lipped smile and dark eyes. The images of the shooter, however, barely begin to describe what demons Lanza struggled with, and what may have led him to carry out the Sandy Hook shooting.

According to Lanza’s barber Bob Skuba, who was interviewed by the Associated Press, teenage Adam was uncomfortably quiet, avoided eye contact and was always with his mother when he came in for haircuts.

“I would say, ‘Adam, come on.’ He wouldn't move,” Skuba said. “And his mother would have to say, ‘Adam, come on, he's ready.’ It was like I was invisible.”

Skuba has also had one terrible thought since the massacre.

“I wish I would’ve killed him then,” he says. “Or he should have killed himself a long time ago. He would’ve saved us all the trouble. … He should’ve run in front of a bus, or some other type of terrible death he should’ve done to himself."

Previous interviews with classmates and friends have described Lanza as awkward and as an outsider, but also very intelligent. A former classmate Joshua Milas, who was in the technology club with Lanza, said, “He was a good kid. He was smart,” Milas told AP. “He was probably one of the smartest kids I know. He was probably a genius.”

The only clue so far as to what may have ignited Lanza’s outburst was that Nancy Lanza, the shooters mother, may have been planning to institutionalize Adam in a psychiatric facility, according to a family friend Joshua Flashman.

Flashman told Fox News, “Adam was aware of her petitioning the court for conservatorship and (her) plans to have him committed.”
