Lawyer Chris Sevier Sues Apple for His Online Porn Addiction, Failed Marriage

Chris Sevier, a lawyer in Nashville, Tennessee, recently filed a lawsuit against Apple because its devices don't censor porn, which he claims ended his marriage.

According to Cnet.com, Sevier says Apple failed to protect him from his online porn addiction, so he is suing the tech company to force it to build devices equipped with a filter that blocks porn. He is also suing for damages.

Sevier wrote in his lawsuit that Apple should sell its products “in ‘safe mode’ with software preset to filter out pornographic content.”

The lawyer claims that he mistakenly typed “F*ckbook.com” instead of "Facebook" into the browser on his Apple device and became addicted to Internet pornography.

According to his lawsuit, the attractive young women on F*ckbook became “unfair competition” for his wife and he "began desiring younger more beautiful girls featured in porn videos than his wife, who was no longer 21.”

Sevier also claimed his “failed marriage caused [him] to experience emotional distress to the point of hospitalization" and that porn via Apple caused "interference of the marital contract."

The lawyer also warned that Internet pornography is putting “brick and mortar ‘mom and pop’ porn shops” out of business.
