A 12-year-old boy died after suffering from a heat stroke during football practice.
Johnny Tolbert III of Fulton County, Georgia, was practicing at a local park when he collapsed during conditioning drills on July 14, WSBTV reports.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when the outside temperature was around 90 degrees.
Since the day he collapsed, Tolbert was in the hospital with severe brain damage until he died on July 28.

Doctors ruled heatstroke was the cause of Tolbert's death. Tolbert has had no previous medical conditions. It was his first year playing football with the Welcome All Panthers.
The league has since suspended football practice at parks in Fulton County.
Tolbert's family has started a GoFundMe page to raise money for medical and funeral costs.
So far, the crowd funding campaign has raised nearly half of the $10,000 goal.
