So begins the following video courtesy of Yahoo, in which climatologists visit Antarctica's Wilkins Ice Shelf. Once a powerful body of ice, it is now on the verge of breaking away and vanishing into the ocean.

It's summer down there and these cycles have been normal. It also ignores the record amount of ice during last winter in the Antarctic. Stories like this are pure yellow journalism and the writer should learn more about the subject before they support crap like this.
