“I will rise to fight for the ocean. Because I simply can’t bear the thought of living in a world where we can not swim in the sea.” – Brock Cahill

If you’ve never met Brock Cahill, there are two things you should know.
First: he’s usually standing on his hands. Whether teaching a yoga class at Coachella or at a yoga retreat in Bora Bora with his yogini wife, Krista, Brock almost always seems to be upside-down.
Second: he loves the ocean, although he’s particularly fond of sea turtles.
“They are such beautiful, serene, and graceful animals. if you have ever swam with one, you know what chillers they are.”

Brock’s affinity for the creatures led him to found the non-profit Kurmalliance to provide aid to endangered sea turtles and sea life in the Gulf of Mexico and beyond.
Brock explains: “What started as a humble and necessary mission to save sea turtles [after the BP oil spill] has culminated into a new purpose and a new direction… A new way to use my practice, and my training, to cultivate a revolution, and to create positive change.”
Now watch this AMAZING video of Brock doing what he does best (besides saving the world of course) –
Kurmalliance is ocean conservation through action, and Brock invites yogis of the world to help him make a difference: “Wanna join an army? Kurmalliance is all about yogactivism and oceaniconservation. Rest assured, that whenever I can, I will step up to rescue sea turtles, I will dive in to save sharks, and I will rise to fight for the ocean. Because I simply can’t bear the thought of living in a world where we can not swim in the sea.”
YogaEarth is helping Brock and Kurmalliance raise money to save these ocean endangered species. Each 40 boxes of YogaEarth funds an entire day of work in rescue efforts, ocean cleanup, and marine research.
