In a shocking development, Gary Coleman reportedly took out a restraining order against ex-wife Shannon Price just months before his death, according to legal documents obtained by gossip site Radaronline.com. Price, who sold deathbed photos to a tabloid, decided to take Coleman off life support.
Coleman filed the paperwork for the restraining order in February, 2010. He was hospitalized at the time, and Price had moved back into his home without his consent. The paperwork states that Coleman was worried Price would trash his belongings while he was away.
"[She] has shown a tendency to damage, destroy and steal my property and I believe she will continue to do so in my absence and while she is trespassing in my home."
Coleman never ended up serving Price with the restraining order and, in fact, allowed her to stay in the house.

Robert Malcolm, Coleman's former manager, explained the situation this way: "The dynamics of their relationship were very unhealthy. This time he knew he needed to break away, so he made sure she was not allowed in his home, but then he had feelings for her, even though she was abusive, and so he allowed her back into his home."
