24. New York Giants: Chance Warmack
Chance Warmack has been an instrumental part of AJ McCarron’s big year, and he could provide the same sort of quality protection for Eli Manning. Great value pick this late in the draft.
25. New England Patriots: TBD
It’s still too early. This pick could still very easily end up getting moved for a proven piece. (Obviously it will be a defensive player if the Patriots keep it, but which one?) Come back closer to the draft, I’ll have my highly anticipated prediction then.
26. Denver Broncos: Sheldon Richardson
This pick is going to be whoever the best defensive tackle on the board is at the time – most likely Sheldon Richardson.
27. Chicago Bears: Sharrif Floyd
Can you get a new offensive coordinator in the draft? There won’t be any legitimate, first round-worthy offensive line players available at this point. Sharrif Floyd has been a huge part of Florida’s surprisingly impressive defense, and he’d be a great fit for a Bears team that will likely lose key players to free agency this summer.
28. Baltimore Ravens: Alex Okafor
We all know what the mantra will be heading into the draft: Defensive youth. Defensive youth. Defensive youth. Alex Okafor makes for a good value pick here.
29. Green Bay Packers: D.J. Fluker
Alabama’s offense has been surprisingly good this year, and prior to the Georgia game the offensive line got very little credit for that. The Packers will be looking for best player available here and D.J. Fluker fits the bill.
30. San Francisco 49ers: Damontre Moore
DE, Texas A&M
Now that he finally has a quarterback that he is confident in, Jim Harbough will shift his focus back onto building the best defense in the NFL. There is no way he will pass on a player of Damontre Moore’s caliber. Total steal here.
31. Atlanta Falcons: Tyler Eifert
TE, Notre Dame
A defensive tackle would be good here, but the Falcons won’t get much value at that position this late in the first. They may as well wait until the second round. With Tony Gonzalez retiring (supposedly), the Falcons need to look for their tight end of the future. Tyler Eifert makes for a great value pick.
32. Houston Texans: Terrance Williams
There is a reasonable case to be made that Terrance Williams is actually the second or third best wide receiving prospect available this year. That said, the image of being made great by RGIII is hard to shake. Great value pick for the Texans here.
