What a Great Idea
1 (Instructions are below the photos)
This is something the whole family can enjoy...
And it's very easy to make...
Begin with a long piece of parchment paper...
First fold it in half, then draw a line about two inches out from the fold...
Start with the edge of plastic opposite its fold. Open the parchment, then put the plastic inside. Make sure it's aligned to the fold of the parchment...
Fold the parchment back over...
Use the iron to slowly melt the plastic together. Run it along the line of the parchment. NOTE: Make sure the iron DOESN'T touch the bare plastic...
Now let it cool. Then, remove the parchment and seal all the edges...
Slice a small slit in the folded end of the plastic, near the corner.
Put the hose in, and prop up the corner so the water doesn't spill out. It will take about half an hour to fill it up eight inches deep...
Seal off the end with duct tape...
Throw the kids on top and enjoy...
Note: You can add coloring to the water for extra fun...
Glow in the dark coloring at night would be awesome...
