In Budapest, Hungary something very cool happens every winter.
Local streetcars are decorated with thousands of twinkling LEDs.
Over 30,000 lights are used to turn ordinary trams into dazzling vehicles that travel through the streets spreading holiday joy.
The tradition was begun by the Budapest Transport Company as way of making travel more entertaining for tourists and locals.
Each tram is lit up in the evening from 4pm, starting from early December until January.
The greatest part about these trams is that a ride on them doesn’t cost anymore than a regular fare.
Pretty stunning, right?
