Mike Edwards, a former member of rock group Electric Light Orchestra, was killed on Friday after his van was struck by a huge bale of hay.
ELO cellist Mike Edwards died instantly after a 1,320-pound bale of hay came tumbling down a steep hill and onto the van he was driving in Devon, England. Sources say the bale of hay likely fell from a tractor working in the nearby area.
Edwards swerved into another vehicle as his van was struck, but the other driver was uninjured in the crash.
Police are trying to locate the victims' relatives to help with their investigation and formally identify Edwards.
