Former Michigan Star "Tractor" Traylor Found Dead

Former University of Michigan star Robert “Tractor” Traylor was found dead in his apartment in Puerto Rico on Wednesday. He had suffered a massive heart attack at the age of 34.

Traylor was a McDonald’s All-American and a big-time player at Michigan. In 1998, he was drafted with the sixth-overall pick and then traded by the Dallas Mavericks to the Milwaukee Bucks in exchange for Pat Garrity and the rights to Dirk Nowitski.

Traylor was in Puerto Rico playing for the Vaqueros de Bayamón in their BSN league.

Traylor never had a huge impact at the NBA level and was also dealing with heart problems that led to him having aortic surgery in 2006. Who knows if the heart attack is related to his previous problems, but they couldn’t have helped.
