A jail guard in Florida has been suspended for a little more than a day for circling a Bible verse and labeling it "The Obama Prayer."
The line in the book of Psalm: Chapter 109 Verse 8 reads, "Let his days be few; and let another take his office." The verse has been making the rounds on the Internet for more than a year, with critics calling it "Obama's Prayer."
Sgt. Matthew Neu of the Manatee County Jail said he did it just as a joke. However, his colleagues said it is a well known fact that Neu is not a fan of President Obama.

The woman whose Bible in which Neu wrote his little joke didn't think it was at all funny. She reported it, saying "whoever left the note wanted the president dead."
That's because the following verse reads, "Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow." The entire Psalm asks God to destroy the man.
Neu said it was not intended as a threat to the president. He said he just wants Obama out of office, not dead.
However, he admitted, "Maybe it was not in good taste."
