Despite the European Poker Tour's television cameras not making the trip to Denmark, a total of 449 players entered the 35,000+2,250 DKK event over two starting days Monday and Tuesday, outpacing last year's total of 423.

A total prize pool of 15,086,400 DKK was created with 3,700,000 (approx. €496,271) reserved for the winner.

262 players advanced to Wednesday's Day 2 at Casino Copenhagen with Lithuanian Domantas Klimciauskas sitting at the top of the leaderboard.

After starting at a table that included Swedish online high-stakes phenom Viktor "Islidur1" Blom, fellow Swedish pro Ramzi Jelassi sits third.

EPT Copenhagen runs through Feb. 26.
