Westboro Baptist Church Planning to Picket Whitney Houston’s Funeral

The Westboro Baptist Church said that it would picket the funeral of singer Whitney Houston because she engaged “in sorceries” and failed to tell people to obey God.

The Westboro Baptist Church said in a statement: “God gave Whitney Houston a beautiful singing voice and a world-wide platform, which she should have used to encourage obedience to His Word and warn the wicked that their rebellion brings destruction from the hand of God."

A private funeral for Houston will be held February 12 at New Hope Baptist Church in Newark and will be streamed live on the web.

I'm actually kind of glad for the Westboro Baptist Church, they get in the news enough to hep let people know the lunacy of some of the overly religious and their organizations.

Westboro Baptist Church is proof that inbreeding should be stopped, the other example is a two faced politician.

This is what religion does to perfectly normal people.

Everything I do, I do it for you.

Someday someone is going to open fire on these Westboro, uh, what can I say here, jerks? And I don't condone or recommend it, can't defend it...but I really won't shed a tear over it, either...so maybe that's a character flaw in me.

Whitney Houston did something far greater than to use her voice "to encourage obedience to His Word and warn the wicked that their rebellion brings destruction from the hand of God."; she used it to bring joy to the hearts of millions through her music. That is a lot closer to the teachings of the Christ myth than anything that the WBC jihadists do.

The insanity principle is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results. The far right, the far left, vegans, creationists and other extremists believe in the insanity principle, religiously.
