Want To Know Why Your Facebook News Feed Is Full Of Giraffes? Here You Go

| by Jonathan Wolfe

Noticing an unusually high number of giraffes in your Facebook news feed lately?

Apparently that’s because you’re friends aren’t very good at riddles.

There’s a little game going around the internet in which you have to answer a riddle. Get the answer right and you keep your profile picture. But get the answer wrong and you have to change your profile picture to a giraffe for three days.

Here’s the riddle:

“3:00 a.m., the doorbell rings and you wake up. Unexpected visitors. It’s your parents and they are there for breakfast. You have strawberry jam, honey, wine, bread and cheese. What is the first thing you open?”

So, what’s your answer? I’m going with wine. The sooner I get a glass of wine in my parents the sooner they pass out and I can go back to sleep. But apparently that’s the wrong answer.

Luckily this is Opposing Views and not Facebook, so I won’t be changing my profile picture. Now, on to the correct answer.

Spoiler Alert:

The Facebook Giraffe Riddle Committee (FGRC) is accepting either of the following answers as correct:

A. The door, or

B. Your eyes

There you have it. Now go to Facebook and impress all your friends with your riddle solving wisdom. Just don’t tell them I told you.

Man, the internet must be really bored today.
