On Wednesday, country music legend Willie Nelson told KSAT-TV that he is “proud” of the Occupy Wall Street movement and slammed Wall Street companies that don't pay taxes (video below).
Nelson said: “Once the people have had enough, they start speaking and they’ll start doing what they’re doing. I’m proud of them for doing it. I pay my taxes and some of those guys up there (on Wall Street) don’t. And those are the ones that I’m pissed off at, the ones that make millions of dollars a year and don’t pay any taxes.”
Nelson also said that he enjoys watching the Republican presidential debates: “It’s the best thing on TV, watching those guys scramble and try to clean up what they screw up."
