Video: Trailer for 'The Hunger Games' Debuts on 'GMA'

This morning, 'Good Morning America' aired the first trailer for 'The Hunger Games,' the highly anticipated adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ best-selling novel. In the futuristic film, 24 children of Panem set off to fight to the death in front of television cameras (video below). The film stars Jennifer Lawrence, Academy Award nominee for 'Winter's Bone.'

The trailer shows Katniss (Lawrence) volunteering to fight in the Hunger Games in the place of her sister Primrose (Willow Shields), Katniss' training for the games, and shots of many supporting characters, including Effie Trinket (Elizabeth Banks), Haymitch Abernathy (Woody Harrelson), Caesar Flickerman (Stanley Tucci) and President Snow (Donald Sutherland).
