Appearing on 'The Daily Show,' legendary crooner Tony Bennett told host Jon Stewart that his duet partner Amy Winehouse knew her days were numbered: "She knew that she was in a lot of trouble. That she wasn't going to live."
Bennett said he was so moved by her voice and the quality she brought to jazz singing, but could sense that things weren't right.
The last recording made by Amy Winehouse before her death was her duet with Tony Bennett on his 'Duets II' album, which recently topped the charts, making Bennett the oldest recording artist, at 85, to have a number one album. The previous record was set two years ago by Bob Dylan, who was 67-years-old in 2009.
