Who wants more clips from Playing for Keeps with Gerard Butler? I do I do! (Anyone else remember that old “Who wants gum” commercial?) Anyway, I digress. It’s been at least a couple of days since we posted anything new on Gabriele Muccino’s new dramedy starring The Butler, Jessica Biel Timberlake, Catherine Zeta Jones et al. .I know I was jonesin’ how about you?
Note to Film District:
You may not be very good at updating your press website, but you still seem to be on the ball in terms of getting the word out on this movie. I can’t remember the last Gerard Butler movie where I’ve actually seen the tv spots, ON THE TV – and on a lot of different channels. Considering how little television I actually watch and how often I’m seeing these spots, I think it’s indicative of the coverage you’re providing. Keep it up and you may actually get some butts in the seats!
Popular VideoThis judge looked an inmate square in the eyes and did something that left the entire courtroom in tears:
“A charming, down-on-his luck former soccer star returns home to put his life back together. Looking for a way to rebuild his relationship with his son, he gets roped into coaching the boy’s soccer team. But his attempts to finally become an “adult” are met with hilarious challenges from the attractive “soccer moms” who pursue him at every turn.”
Playing for Keeps, with a screenplay by Robbie Fox, stars in addition to Gerard Butler, Noah Lomax and Jessica Biel Timberlake, Catherine Zeta Jones, Uma Thurman, Dennis Quaid, Judy Greer and James Tupper. It opens in the US on December 7 (the same date as Catherine Zeta Jones in Lay the Favorite) and 1st January in the UK. You can see more of our coverage of Playing for Keeps here and still more from way back when it was called Playing the Field, here. Remember, you can also keep up with the film on Facebook (from whence the image up top comes), Twitter and the official site. Enjoy the clips!
