Video: New Behind the Scenes of 'The Hobbit'

| by I Need My Fix

Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey doesn’t open for another week but since Thanksgiving we’ve seen more posters and tv spots than you can shake a troll at. To add to the bounty, today we have a couple more videos to share. The image above is not from The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Oh no my friends, this is your first look at the FINAL film of the trilogy, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, which features Orlando Bloom as Legolas and Luke Evans as Bard the Bowman. (Thanks EW!)

The first is probably the best of the bunch. It’s thirteen minutes of behind the scenes with Peter Jackson, Philippa  Boyens, Richard Armitage, Martin Freeman, Cate Blanchett, Ian McKellen, assorted dwarves, Elijah Wood and even Christopher Lee all enticing us back to middle earth. There’s a lot of footage we’ve never seen before too.

Speaking of things we haven’t seen before, the second clip is called “The Dragon” and it gives us a quick peek at Smaug.

Richard Armitage says he thinks people will see this more than once, and the he knows he will. I certainly know I will! I can’t wait!

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journeyopens Friday December 14 everywhere in IMAX, 3D and conventional 2D.
