Video: Movie Trailer for 'Seven Psychopaths' Starring Colin Farrell

| by I Need My Fix

We first told you about writer/director Martin McDonagh’s first film since the award winning In Bruges, way back in December of last year. We had the first poster in April and now, with the news that Seven Psychopaths will premiere at TIFF during the Midnight Madness sidebar, we have the first, (very funny) trailer (via Machinima)!

In my opinion, if you liked In Bruges, you’re going to love this. Of course the star of Seven Psychopaths is Colin Farrell who won a Golden Globe for that earlier film. It also stars Christopher Walken, Woody Harrelson, Abbie Cornish, Olga Kurylenko, Gabourey Sidibe, Zeljko Ivanek and the bizarrely brilliant Sam Rockwell. As I’ve said before the only thing that would make this even more perfect is the presence of Brendan Gleeson.

“An alcoholic screenwriter (Colin Farrell) struggling to write a serial-killer script gets more real-life inspiration than he can handle when a dognapping scheme gone awry brings a galaxy of crazies to his doorstep. A top-notch cult-movie cast — including Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, Tom Waits, Harry Dean Stanton-anchors this wacky, blood-spattered commentary on the psycho-killer thriller from the writer-director of In Bruges.”

Seven Psychopaths, which looks hilarious, will open in the US on October 12 and in the UK on 7th December.
