Video: Movie Trailer for "Alex Cross' Starring Edward Burns

| by I Need My Fix

The first pics for Rob Cohen’s Alex Cross got my attention if for nothing else, the unrecognizable Matthew Fox with the shaved head, hot tats and muscles on his muscles. Then of course there’s Edward Burns. Burns sometimes takes big budget projects for the paycheck in order to finance his own small (and generally terrific) projects, but his presence is always welcome.  Of course Tyler Perry is still playing James Patterson’s titular hero and I’m nothing if not indifferent to Perry.

Today we have the first trailer (and the first poster above)

“Don’t ever cross Alex Cross”? No, still not sold.  Fox is apparently playing some variation on Hannibal Lecter with lots more firepower. Okay, so I don’t know for sure he’s eating people.

After Washington DC detective Alex Cross is told that a family member has been murdered, he vows to track down the killer. He soon discovers that she was not his first victim and that things are not what they seem.
