Video: Jon Stewart Mocks NRA's Attack Ad Against Obama

| by Michael Allen

'The Daily Show' host Jon Stewart on Wednesday night mocked the National Rifle Association over their new controversial advertisement (video below).

The NRA’s new commercial (and web site) calls President Obama an “elitist hypocrite” because the Secret Service protects his children, yet the president won't post armed guards in schools for other people's kids, reports

Stewart said: “And why does he get to veto bills and command an army, when we don’t? If I didn’t know any better, and I’m not a big conspiracy guy, after seeing that ad, I would think the NRA was either an elaborate avant-garde Joaquin Phoenix-style joke, or a false flag operation run by Michael Moore in an attempt to discredit responsible gun owners.”

Stewart contrasted President Obama’s calm response to the NRA ad with what Stewart felt Obama should have said: “If you bring up my kids again, I will drone strike you to kingdom come.”
