On the 'Daily Show,' (video below) host Jon Stewart took a look at the difference between the media’s coverage of the Occupy Wall Street protests and the coverage of the Tea Party rallies. Stewart said that, after weeks of protests, the media has reset its “coverage dial” from “blackout” to “circus," which are apparently its only two settings.

While Fox News was more than eager to praise and fawn over the anti- health care Tea Party demonstrators, commentators such as Ann Coulter and Steve Doocy have alternately called the 'Occupy Wall Street' protesters “muddled” and "totalitarian fascists" who "hate capitalism."

It's not a democracy. It's a republic. None of those answers were coherent or intelligent about what they're doing there. BUT YOU'RE DOWN with them trashing the park they're in and attacking police. Why are you defending them, when they clearly cannot defend themselves. The actual tea party was attacking after being attacked by the over powering British government. They were abused. How are these protesters abused and not the abusers? Jon Stewart is doing what they can't, but he's no better at speaking for them at all. Humor works for good causes and bad. He's using it for bad.
