| by Michael Allen

NBC’s Saturday Night debuted Jay Pharoah as 'President Obama,' taking over the presidential impression from SNL's Fred Armisen (video below).

Pharoah appeared in the opening skit featuring Jason Sudeikis as Mitt Romney and Taran Killam as Paul Ryan, reports the Daily Mail.

Also featured was returning cast member Bill Hader mocking Clint Eastwood's speech to an empty chair at the Republican Party convention.

As President Obama, Pharoah called the Romney campaign his "secret weapon" and a "Christmas miracle," as Sudeikis, playing an out-of-touch Romney, tried to high-five a man with no hands.
