Grand Theft Auto V, an action-adventure video game created by Rockstar Games, was released on Sept. 17 and is a huge overnight hit.
Within 24 hours, Grand Theft Auto V has earned more than $800 million, which breaks the first-day sales record set by Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 of $500 million, noted Forbes.
The video game has also received a rave review from IGN.com:
It both gives you tremendous freedom to explore an astonishingly well-realized world and tells a story that’s gripping, thrilling, and darkly comic. It is a leap forward in narrative sophistication for the series, and there’s no mechanical element of the game play that hasn’t been improved over Grand Theft Auto IV.
However, the conspiracy website Infowars.com claims that Grand Theft Auto V is "filled with obvious references to the Illuminati secret society" and adds:
GTA V allows the player to freely roam the game’s urban and rural settings while committing crimes with near impunity.
Between virtual shootouts and carjackings, however, players may find themselves distracted by the numerous secret society symbols in the game.
Additionally, a user on YouTube called "RSP Productions" has uploaded a video of part of the game, which supposedly shows the "Secret Illuminati Easter Egg."
