Video: Dance Teacher Kimberly Sauto Found Guilty of Sex With 15-Year-Old Student

In Ohio, a Summit County jury found North Ridgeville dance instructor, Kimberly Sauto, 34, guilty of having a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old male student, whose name has not been released because he is a minor (video below).

On Friday, Summit County Common Judge Judy Hunter sent Sauto to jail following her conviction of a charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Suato will be sentenced on March 6, 2012, and faces a maximum of five years in prison.

Prosecutors said the relationship was uncovered by Sauto's husband Richard who told police that he found condoms in his wife's dance bag. He also found cell phone text messages between his wife and the boy, who was her tap dancing student.

Sauto, a mother of two, admitted she wrote the boy love letters, sent him text messages and kissed him, but said it did not progress to a sexual relationship. However, the teen testified that they did have sex.

County Prosecutor Sherrie Bevan Walsh said Sauto testified that she still loves the teen.
