| by Michael Allen

Abigail and Brittany Hensel are conjoined twins who share one body. The 22 year olds were not expected to live past their infancy, but they are now adults with a reality show deal.

The TLC TV show, called 'Abby and Brittany,' will follow the twins from Bethel University to job searches to adventures around Europe.

The Hensels first gained national attention in 1996, when they appeared on 'Oprah' and in Life Magazine.

When the Hensels were born on March 7, 1990, doctors warned their parents that the girls were unlikely to survive.

The Daily Mail reports that only one percent of conjoined twins survive beyond the first year.

Mom Patty was unaware that she was carrying twins until she gave birth at a Minnesota hospital where she works as a nurse.

The twins have different personalities, with Abigail being stubborn one, while Brittany is the funny one.

Their TV show debuts on August 28.
